A person is eligible for admission to the council as an associate member on receiving the Import-Export Code Number from the Director General Of Foreign Trade Ministry of Commerce and Industry Government of India in respect of the product with which the Council is concerned. In order to be eligible for ordinary membership of the Council, a person must satisfy certain requirements.

For members of the type Manufacturer cum Merchant Exporter, a dual RCMC fee is charged once in 5 years. The applicable fee for each panel is an additional charge for members. It is important to note that the requisite fee for the Capexil membership registration has to be paid online.
